Raipur: In response to the rising temperatures across Chhattisgarh, the Directorate of Public Instruction has made an unprecedented decision to alter school timings even before the official reopening.
According to an announcement by the Education Secretary of Chhattisgarh, all schools affiliated with CBSE and the Chhattisgarh Board (CG Board) will operate from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM starting today. The decision aims to safeguard students from the extreme summer heat and ensure a comfortable learning environment.
Authorities have urged schools to implement necessary heatwave precautions, including adequate drinking water and ventilation. Further updates on school schedules will be provided based on weather conditions.
