Hisar, Haryana – In a landmark development for regional connectivity and infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the air service from Hisar to Ayodhya Dham and laid the foundation stone for a new terminal building at Hisar Airport.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, “Today, air service from Hisar to Ayodhya Dham has started, and the foundation stone of the new terminal building of Hisar airport has also been laid. I am confident that this airport will give new wings to the dreams of the youth of Haryana.”
The new air route is expected to boost tourism and religious travel while opening up economic and employment opportunities in the region. The upcoming terminal is part of the government’s broader push to strengthen regional air connectivity under the UDAN scheme.
Officials noted that the new terminal will be equipped with modern facilities and is designed to handle increased passenger traffic, signaling Hisar’s emergence as a key aviation hub in North India.
Local leaders and residents hailed the initiative as a transformative step toward infrastructure development and youth empowerment in Haryana.
