Raipur, July 23 — Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai chaired a high-level review meeting today with officials from the Women and Child Development Department to assess ongoing welfare schemes and strategize future initiatives aimed at empowering women and improving child nutrition and health across the state.
During the meeting, CM Sai emphasized the need for effective implementation of key schemes such as the Anganwadi Services, Poshan Abhiyaan, and various women empowerment programs. He directed officials to ensure timely delivery of benefits, especially in remote and tribal areas, and called for increased monitoring and accountability.
“Women and children form the foundation of a strong society. Our government is committed to ensuring their well-being and upliftment,” the Chief Minister stated.
The department presented updates on recent achievements and challenges, including nutrition levels, maternal health indicators, and child development outcomes. CM Sai urged for data-driven approaches and increased inter-departmental coordination to improve results.Senior department officials, district collectors, and representatives from health and education departments also participated in the meeting.
