Chief Minister of Assam Meets Prime Minister in New Delhi

The Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, met with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. The two leaders held discussions on key issues concerning the development of Assam and the Northeast region.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Sarma briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of various ongoing projects in the state and sought continued support from the central government for Assam’s developmental initiatives.

This high-level meeting reflects the ongoing coordination between the central and state governments to ensure rapid infrastructure growth, socio-economic welfare, and peace in the Northeast.
