Posted on: 14 May 2025 Srinagar/Rajasthan: The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) concluded its high-profile Tiranga Yatra at the iconic Lal Chowk in Srinagar, after an inspiring journey that began in Rajasthan. The yatra, aimed at promoting national unity and patriotic spirit among all communities, drew widespread participation and support across states.
In a symbolic gesture at Lal Chowk, participants reaffirmed their commitment to the integrity of the nation, raising slogans and waving the Tricolour. The culmination of the yatra was marked by enthusiasm and a resolute stand against divisive forces.
Prominent activist Ashwini Mishra had an exclusive interaction with the participants from Rajasthan who arrived in Srinagar after covering thousands of kilometers. Speaking to Mishra, participants expressed a strong desire for peace and national solidarity, and emphasized the role of Muslim voices in countering anti-national narratives.
One participant stated, “We have come here to show that every Indian, irrespective of religion, stands for the unity of Bharat. The Tiranga is our pride.”
The yatra also carried a message of strong opposition to terrorism and cross-border extremism. A protest during the event featured slogans condemning Pakistan-sponsored terrorism — a sentiment captured in visuals showing demonstrators burning symbolic effigies and holding placards reading “Pakistan Murdabad.”
The Muslim Rashtriya Manch, affiliated ideologically with the RSS, has increasingly sought to integrate Muslim representation into the mainstream nationalist discourse. Through this yatra, it has attempted to send a strong message of inclusive patriotism.
Security was heightened in the area during the culmination event, but the rally concluded peacefully.
