Raipur,
In a landmark move, the state cabinet under the leadership of Cabinet Minister O.P. Choudhary has taken a historic decision to enhance the quality of education and ensure the rightful placement of trained educators.
In a key policy shift, the cabinet has officially ended the practice of direct recruitment for certain teaching posts in 2023. As a result, 2,621 B.Ed.-qualified Assistant Teachers will now be adjusted into the posts of Assistant Teacher Science (Laboratory), making full use of their professional training and subject expertise.
Minister O.P. Choudhary emphasized that this move is not only a recognition of the qualifications of these educators but also a strategic step to strengthen the foundation of science education in schools across the state. “This is a long-awaited step towards justice for qualified teachers and a major push for quality education reforms,” he said.
This decision has been widely welcomed by the teaching community and education reform advocates, who have praised the government’s commitment to both fairness in employment and academic excellence.
