Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meaningful meeting with representatives from various political parties of the Maldives, emphasizing the enduring strength of the India-Maldives relationship.

Sharing insights on the meeting, PM Modi stated, “Had a meaningful meeting with members of different political parties of the Maldives. The participation of leaders across the political spectrum underscores the bipartisan support for the strong and time-tested India-Maldives friendship. Our shared values continue to guide this important partnership.”

The meeting, which saw the presence of leaders from both nations, highlighted mutual interests in regional peace, development, and cooperation. Both sides reiterated their commitment to democratic values, maritime security, and people-to-people ties.
