In a significant step towards ensuring educational opportunities for students in Naxal-affected regions, Vishnu Deo Sai announced that the government will provide interest-free loans up to Rs. 4 lakh under the ‘Chief Minister Higher Education Loan Interest Subsidy Scheme.’ This initiative aims to support students from 17 Naxal-affected districts, ensuring they have access to higher education without financial barriers.
For students from the remaining districts, the government will offer loans at a highly subsidized interest rate of just 1 percent. Sai emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring that students from these regions can pursue their education and secure a bright future without facing any financial difficulties.
“Our aim is to remove the obstacles faced by students in Naxal-affected areas and empower them with the tools needed for a successful future,” Sai stated, underscoring the government’s dedication to the educational advancement of all students in the state.
