Acting on the instructions of Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, Raipur district authorities have intensified actions against the sale and use of tobacco and other intoxicants, focusing on shops in and around the railway station. A team conducted inspections in the area, issuing challans to shop owners found selling prohibited tobacco products.
The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to reduce the availability and use of harmful substances within the district, especially in public spaces frequented by travelers and locals alike. The district administration has stated that similar actions will continue to be taken to curb the spread of intoxicants and promote a healthier environment for the community.
